  I've been a member at Douglass Hills twice, once in the late 1980s and again starting in early 2012; I'm currently a member. It is an excellent congregation of the Lord's people, concerned about worshipping God and helping each other go to heaven. The atmosphere is warm and supportive, and the elders genuinely care about members as individuals. A range of classes are offered each quarter. The full-time preachers - Paul Earnhart and Mark McCrary - are godly men who present lessons from God's Word that are interesting and useful; the congregation also supports a third preacher at the church as a training opportunity for young men interested in devoting their lives to evangelism. There are classes for children of all ages. Most importantly, the doctrine taught is from the Bible only, and everyone from elders to youngest member are concerned about serving God as He wants to be served. It is a wonderful, grounding, and also challenging place for those seeking to be servants of the Christ. I highly recommend it for membership and for visiting too!
